Top Melboure Cup Chances…A Long Range Punt!

We are still over 11 weeks away from the 2008 Melbourne Cup, but I thought I would put forward my Top Melbourne Cup Chances.  Now, these are most certainly not selections I have a very specific method that I go through that requires actual races leading into the Cup.  This method has been highly successful in providing if not the winner, place getters and something to really cheer on the day.  Since I have started using this method (you will need to purchase the upcoming ebook and members area to find out the detail) my selections have been, Purple Moon in 2007 (2nd), Pop Rock and Maybe Better in 2006 (2nd & 3rd), On A Jeune in 2005 (2nd), Zazzman in 2004 (3rd) and Makybe Diva 2003 (1st).

So, big deal, 1 from 5, that’s only 20%.  I am sure that there are people out there that have selected the winner more then that, but have the been able to through a specific method always get either the winner or place getter?

So, with no better method then ‘gut feeling’ from what I have seen, read and expect my top chanes for 2008 Melbourne Cup are – (man this is going to be interesting come around 3:30pm 4th November)

Nom Du Jeu
Heavenly Glow
Riva San
Sirmione
Tuesday Joy
Admire Jupiter

Well there is it, Admire Jupiter is a Japanese horse, I don’t know a lot about it at the moment expect there has been pletny of talk.  Hard to read the form on the Japanese horses, but given their record in recent years you want to be paying attention.

1 from 5 in the cup, boy I can only dream, haven’t found the winner in the race since Cookie landed at Botany Bay…

Thats a pretty strong list for this years cup, Nom Du Jeu and Riva San are high on my list also, There’s another Kiwi worth keeping an eye on in C’EST LA GUERRE who ran in the Memsie, for some reason I am expecting a big spring from Fiumicino and I can’t leave Efficient off the list, get him on his day and he can run some most spectacular sectionals.

Great website, good luck on the punt and keep up the great work.
    Cheers..
